Roger had a humble upbringing in a small town and was the first of his family to attend a four-year college. After graduation, Roger began his career as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with the Arthur Andersen accounting and consulting firm. This experience, and his financial acumen and business insights, have served as an important foundation for navigating his future ventures and challenges.
Roger was a member of the team that founded The Hydroxyl Group, securing exclusive rights for distributing and selling odor-elimination products across the United States. Building on their success, Roger and the team are now spearheading Airbotx, a company with an ambitious mission to create and manufacture revolutionary clean air technology. Through innovative research, development, and their dedicated team, the Airbotx team aims to provide more effective solutions for air quality remediation in the cleaning and restoration industry and other markets.
Roger has been married to his wife Janine for 38 years. They are especially proud of their three children and young grandchildren. Ruby, the family Golden Doodle, is Roger’s faithful companion.
Tom holds a degree in business administration from the University of Florida. Prior to entering the cleaning and restoration industry, Tom utilized his business knowledge to help develop national sales and trade show programs, including the training, development, and leadership of several hundred sales professionals across the U.S.
After serving in the cleaning and restoration industry for over 15 years as a speaker, educator, and expert in odor removal and UV-C technology, Tom joined Airbotx as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Drawing on his specialty of working with companies to strategically, safely, and permanently remove odors from a wide array of losses, Tom helps lead the Airbotx team in developing the next generation of UV-C disinfection and odor removal technology.
Tom and his wife Jillian live in West Palm Beach, Florida. In his spare time, Tom enjoys cooking, CrossFit, reading books, and spending time with his five amazing children.
Brian grew up on a small farm located just south of Ann Arbor, Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan and earned advanced degrees in mechanical engineering, math, and physics. He was also a member of the University of Michigan marching band and attended two Rose Bowls and the Orange Bowl.
Throughout his career, Brian has excelled in new product development and advanced problem solving. His highlights include the creation of high-volume manufacturing equipment for the automobile and the durable label industries. At Airbotx, Brian plays an integral role in developing revolutionary design solutions for the Airbotx machines being used in the cleaning and restoration industry.
Brian and his wife Katherine have seven children and twelve grandchildren. They share their home on a lake with Matty, their dog, and Chloe, their cat.
Tom’s banking journey of over 25 years began working with financial institutions such as Citibank, CIT Financial, JP Morgan Chase, and Merrill Lynch. In 1997, he applied his financial expertise to establish his own highly successful mortgage banking business in Indianapolis, Indiana.
When the real estate crash struck in 2008, Tom faced new challenges and opportunities. It was at this critical juncture that Tom accepted a compelling invitation to join The Hydroxyl Group. For more than 15 years, Tom immersed himself in the intricacies of the field and developed an expertise that centers on equipment rentals and cultivating strong relationships with large loss contractors nationwide.
Today, Tom is one of the founding partners of Airbotx, where he and the team are developing the next generation of commercial-grade air purification technologies for the cleaning and restoration industry. Tom now heads the rental division of Airbotx and manages several national accounts.
Tom and his wife of 39 years, Debbie, are especially proud of their four daughters and son-in-law. He is also a sports fanatic and die-hard Yankees and Colts fan. To his delight, his granddaughter Mikayla is already showing partiality to his favorite sports teams.
Oliver Lawal has been involved with UV technology since the late 1990’s where he previously served in Senior Executive positions at Wedeco and Aquionics; living in UK, Germany, France and New Zealand before moving to the US in 2005. Oliver is the founder of AquiSense Technologies and works also as an independent consultant. He is former a President of the International Ultraviolet Association (IUVA) and currently serves as Co-VP Americas. He holds two engineering degrees from Manchester University in the United Kingdom.
Fred van Lierop is a Chemical engineer with 30+ years of UV lamp experience serving in various engineering design and leadership roles with notable UV technology companies. Fred is a UV discharge lamp and system specialist, with a proven track record in the complete range of UV applications. He is now an International consultant and has worked on a multitude of successful projects with a broad range of clients.
Karl Platzer is a machinery engineering and quality management specialist for quartz UV lamps. Karl had substantial experience in commercial marketing, and M&A activities within the industry. He began his career with a manufacturer of UV quartz lamps in the 80’s. Karl has held positions in Germany, Hungary and as USA CEO/Managing directors at GE-Lighting, JW-Holding - JW North America and Light Sources/Lighttech. Karl is the founder/owner of a UV Consulting Expert consortium, “Consulting M&A Business Development LLC.”
